Facebook algorithms

Facebook algorithms significantly reduce the reach of your posts when they receive little engagement

The algorithm interprets lack of engagement as a sign that your content is not valuable or interesting, ergo FB stops pushing your updates to feeds.

You need likes, comments, and shares from as many people as possible. Comments and shares hold more weight than simple likes.

You need to find a way to encourage comments and sharing.

Asking questions, creating polls, and posting reels may help. People seem to love short reels.

Humor is also engaging.

The problem the facebook algorithm presents is that even though the content might be valuable, some people are afraid to engage. They are worried about their privacy, or they're worried about ending up on your email list, and let's face it - no one wants more email.

"The Facebook algorithm typically evaluates a new post within the first 10 to 30 minutes to determine its initial reach, with some indications that engagement within the first 2 to 10 minutes is critical. If a post fails to receive, likes, comments, or reactions quickly, the algorithm significantly reduces its visibility."
